Rays of Hope: BAMFI’s Found
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:19
February was a momentous month for Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. During that month, we witnessed the miracle of missing children being reunited with their grateful parents. Today, we would like to recount those blessings by sharing with you the faces of those who were found.
Jahir Hall was reunited with his father Julius after he appeared on our partner, The Michael Baisden’s, radio program to discuss Jahir’s abduction.
Mishell “Nikki” Green and her family were reunited after her mother, Janelle, appeared on “The View” with BAMFI CEO Derrica Wilson.
16-year-old Justine England and her mother were reunited after she had been missing 21 days.
The Amber Alert for toddler Neveah Lopez after police stopped her abductor during a traffic stop.
11-year-old Dylan Alexander was found after having disappeared for three days.
Olympia, SC siblings, Sylvia and Michael Scott, were found and reuntied with their parents.
Police reunited 5-year-old Shahanaj Capers with her parents in Sunrise, FL.
Darryl Brown of Germantown, MD was another young person found in February.
Three Navada siblings were reunited with their father when their mother abducted them after losing custody.
3-year-old Jalen and 1-year-old Amari Mattison were reunited with their mother after being abducted by a man who pulled over on the side of the road to help their mother whose car had broken down.
Jade Beneby texted her mother to say she had been placed in the back of a stranger’s trunk while on her way to school. Police and FBI agents were able to locate and bring her back to her mother.
13-year-old Diyana Tekleghiorghis of Boston was found in a New York City library.
And Mejia Rivera was found and reunited with his family.
We know there are many of you who are still waiting to hear from and see your loved ones again. We pray these 16 miracles will help you to hang on to the hope you may be holding close to you. Remember, “if you have faith as small as a mustard seed…nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20). Hold on. Hang on to these rays of hope.
