Find Our Missing

Tune In to “Find Our Missing” Tonight on TVOne

Season two of Find Our Missing moves to Mondays on TV One. The television show is the result of a partnership between the network and Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAM FI), and was created to draw attention to and help find missing African Americans. The effort centers around a docu-drama series hosted by Emmy and Gold Globe Award-winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson, and is designed to put names and faces to people of color who have disappeared without a trace.

Tonight’s episode focuses on 24-year-old Phoenix Coldon, who was last seen leaving her home in St. Louis, and Maurice James, II, who was last seen by his roommate in San Francisco.

It is our hope that you watch every episode of Find Our Missing this season, share information about the tips you learn, and support our efforts to bring missing people home.

Find Our Missing airs tonight, 9/8 Central on TV One. Check your local listings for cable channels.

I knew nothing about this organization until September 2012 when I heard from Maurice’s father that someone was doing a show on him. I can only say I am very grateful for their work and that someone is involved in assisting Black American families at a time of loss. When my son went missing I had no ideal there was any help like this for us. I want to publicly thank TV One, the producers, assistant producers and founder of the foundation. Without people like you who have compassion for other’s hurts there can be no resolution for them. Thank you again very much and it is my sincere hope that many who are lost will be found and restored to their families again. God bless anyone who has lost someone in this way, for it is very hard not having closure when you need it most.
