“Our Untold Stories” featuring the Story of Pamela Butler

Five years ago this week, Pamela Butler of Northwest Washington, DC vanished from her home under suspicious circumstances. Pamela was supposed to spend Valentine’s Day with her mother, but never showed. Police questioned Pamela’s ex-boyfriend, but there have been no charges and her body has never been found. The Butler family believe that Pamela was murdered and her body hidden in a place where it may never be found.

“Our Untold Stories is a program to help us find us,” said Co-Founder of BAMFI Derrica Wilson. “By featuring profiles of our missing, it is our HOPE that the least bit of information can lead to a recovery or much deserved answers for families.”

“Imagine if someone in your family went missing,” said Host Micheline Bowman. “Help starts with us making a difference now! We hope that our community will not only be informed but empowered to take action to help find our missing.”

February 20: Dashad Smith

Dashad Smith, also known as Sage, Sagey and Unique, was last seen Nov. 20, 2012 in the 500 block of West Main Street in Charlottesville, VA. Police say Dashad had phone contact with Erik McFadden that day. The two planned to meet on West Main Street. More than one year later, Dashad is still missing along with the Eric McFadden.

February 27: Why is BAMFI Needed?

Founders Derrica Wilson and Natalie Wilson discuss the importance of BAMFI, and empowering the community to take action and getting involved.
