Cariloop Partners with the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. to Provide Support to Families Searching for Missing Loved Ones
DALLAS – September 13, 2022 – Cariloop, the Caregiver Support company that pairs caregivers and their families with dedicated Care Coaches as they plan for and manage the health and well-being of their loved ones, has partnered with the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAMFI) to provide support to BAMFI’s community members.

Missing persons of color disproportionately represent nearly 40 percent of all missing person cases. Since its inception, BAMFI has been a vocal advocate for the families of missing persons of color who often don’t get the same media coverage or law enforcement support as their white counterparts. The non-profit organization also provides vital resources and tools to missing person’s families and friends and educates the minority community on personal safety.
Cariloop is donating cases to BAMFI to provide additional support as the team helps families locate their missing family members and loved ones. Through this partnership, these families will be paired with a Care Coach, who can help relieve some of the responsibilities, stresses and burdens of caregiving.
“Coping with a missing loved one is a traumatic and overwhelming experience,” said Natalie Wilson and Derrica Wilson, founders of BAMFI. “It can also be absolutely paralyzing and feel like life stops altogether for families. Unfortunately, life doesn’t stop and sometimes these families are dealing with other care responsibilities that can cause more stress and anxiety. We are grateful to provide a resource to these families and connect them with Cariloop’s Care Coaches, who can help them navigate their other caregiving-related challenges or situations.”
Cariloop began working with BAMFI in 2021 and was honored as BAMFI’s Business Partner of the Year at the “Hope Without Boundaries” Walk-Run earlier this year. It is proud to now further its partnership through the donation of cases.
