Location Last Seen: Melissa, a descendant of the White Earth Nation, disappeared between 3am and 6am from a friend's residence in rural Becker County, near County Road 126 just south of Island Lake, approximately 15 miles northwest of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. All her belongings were still in the house including her purse, shoes and socks. Melissa has not been heard from or seen since.
Circumstances of Disappearance: Unknown, however, her family suspects foul play.
Last Seen Wearing: Melissa was last seen in South Park-themed pajama pants and a black t-shirt.
Identifying Marks or Characteristics: At the time she went missing she had a wound on her head that had been closed with staples; a cigarette scar on her right shin; scars in the middle of her forehead, left eyebrow, and abdomen; moles on the right side of her neck, left collar bone, buttocks, and the left side of her stomach; a strawberry mark on the back of her neck near her hair line; a tattoo on her left forearm of a smoking gun; a unicorn with "DS" on her right shoulder blade and an unknown tattoo on her left leg.
