What began as a simple website featuring profiles of missing persons has become a calling for the two DC-area mothers, who work tirelessly to locate some of the 200,000 plus people of color who vanish each year.

BAM FI/BMWK Twitter Chat Garners 1.6 Million Impressions

BAMFI and BMWK announced today that its first hour-long Twitter chat to bring awareness to missing persons of color proved to be an enormous success with more than 700 tweets and 1.6 million impressions reaching an audience of more than 213,000 followers.

Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAM FI) announced today that missing four-year-old, Jhada Clarke, has been found safe and reunited with her mother. Jhada is BAM FI's 50th recovery since its inception.
